Yamamoto laboratory is engaged in elucidation of reaction mechanisms and development of new materials in electrochemical devices based on inorganic materials chemistry, electrochemistry, and synchrotron radiation X-ray analysis. Research keywords are electrode materials, ionic conductors, solid-state ionics, charge compensation, band structure, in-situ or operando measurement, lithium-ion secondary batteries, post-lithium-ion secondary batteries, and so on. Yamamoto lab belongs to the Materials Engineering Area, Department of Environmental Design, Faculty of Engineering, Nara Women's University, and undergraduate students are assigned to the lab in the second semester of their third year.
